Join our weekly FREE Korean class to improve your Korean and make new friends. Free classes? Yes, free! There’s no catch. The reason the class is free is that the teachers are volunteers from the church. Although they are volunteers, many have a background in teaching. Offering this free class is one way that we serve our community, a community that increasingly includes people from outside Korea.

Class in session

The class meets on Saturdays from 11:00 AM  to 1:00 PM. There are three semesters: Jan-Mar, May-Jul, and Sep-Nov. Levels include Beginner, Advanced Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. Occasionally we make Seoul our classroom as we partake in one of the many cultural attractions the city has to offer. To find out how to register, as well information on upcoming events, visit our Meetup page.

Hallyuwood film fanatics

Once a month the Hallyuwood Film Club meets to watch a Korean film with English subtitles. We show films that highlight different aspects of Korean culture. Afterward, we have a brief discussion. Films are typically shown the last Saturday of the month at 1:30 PM. To see what’s playing this month, visit our Meetup page.

Although the Hallyuwood Film Club is an extension of the PCL Korean Class, the films are open to the public. You don’t need to be a student of the class or a member of the church to attend.
